Position Overview

Reporting to the Human Resources Generalist, the intern will gain broad exposure to several areas of HR, including recruitment, onboarding, employee administration, campus recruitment, employee engagement, and HR projects. This role is ideal for a student looking to gain practical, hands-on HR experience in a growing organization while contributing to meaningful day-to-day activities and longer-term initiatives.

What You Will Do

  • Assist with job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication
  • Support recruitment tracking, follow-ups, and general coordination
  • Assist with campus recruitment and co-op/internship hiring initiatives
  • Support new-hire onboarding, including documentation, orientation preparation, and coordination with internal teams
  • Assist with offboarding documentation and administrative requirements
  • Maintain HR trackers, employee records, and organizational information
  • Prepare HR communications, forms, presentations, and employee materials
  • Support employee engagement activities and internal initiatives
  • Help create and improve recruitment workflows, onboarding checklists, templates, and other HR processes
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR function
  • Participate in other HR initiatives and projects as required

What You Will Bring:

  • Currently enrolled in a Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, Psychology, or related post-secondary program
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Proactive and willing to take initiative
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
