We’re seeking a motivated individual to support renewable energy growth for commercial clients. You’ll assess client needs, develop proposals, and assist in deal execution while collaborating across teams to drive sales and growth. What You Will Do

  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand customers' energy requirements and sustainability goals
  • Present and demonstrate energy solutions to clients, highlighting technical features, cost/benefit advantages, and risk management value.
  • Generate and qualify new commercial leads through market research, outreach, networking, referrals, and CRM tracking.
  • Prepare and deliver customized proposals, pricing models, contracts, and supporting documentation that align with client needs and regulatory frameworks.
  • Contribute to business case development and ROI analyses, supporting client decision-making and internal justification of projects.
  • Support the evaluation and communication of applicable incentive programs, grants, and tax credits.
  • Negotiate pricing and sales terms to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes, balancing client interests with company profitability.
  • Respond to client inquiries during the sales cycle, ensuring timely follow-ups and accurate, professional communication.
  • Coordinate internal resources across technical, operations, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of commercial transactions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM systems, tracking customer interactions, proposal status, and pipeline progress.
  • Monitor sales and origination performance metrics, contributing to internal reporting and strategic forecasting.
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, competitive offerings, and regulatory changes in the energy sector.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets while upholding high standards of service and compliance.

What You Will Bring

  • 1–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or a client-facing role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, finance, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and other sales tools for lead management, tracking, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced experience in Excel, including building and maintaining VBA macros for automation and reporting.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, with experience pulling, cleaning, and analyzing data from relational databases to support sales insights, pricing, and performance tracking.
  • Familiarity with financial derivatives and pricing methodologies; able to support product pricing strategies and contribute to discussions around derivative structures and valuation.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint for creating data-driven, client-ready presentations.
  • Strong communication skills—clear, concise, and professional in both written and verbal formats.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Results-driven with strong negotiation, closing, and follow-up skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-focused with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset; comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.

  • Work experience in energy, sustainability, or technical sales.
